2020 Giving
In March 2020 when the pandemic hit, our goal was to feed 1000 families, but by September, we were providing 2700 families a week with fresh, culturally relevant meat & produce which we delivered to every corner of Lake County.
In 2020 we served 31,764 families a total of 897,957 meals.

2021 Giving
In 2021, we changed our giving program and relied mostly on rescue food from
manufacturers and distributors.
We rescued approximately 2 Million pounds of food that was going to be disposed of because of overproduction. Instead of throwing it away, we were able to redistribute it to
over 30,000 families in our community.

We continue to rely mostly on rescue food from manufacturers and distributors. and giving partners.
We also continue to provide left over meals from Events that we have catered (with our clients' permission, of course) and with our rescue food, we serve about 400 families per month. We'd LOVE to do more!
